MONOLITH Shower ERA112 Pre-Rinse Unit for Sink Taps

A pre-rinse unit delivers a targeted jet of hot water to loosen food debris from pots, pans and utensils before they enter the sink. The water is drawn from the hot supply, passes through the tap body and exits via a flexible shower hand that the operator directs by hand. The force of the jet comes from mains pressure, so the unit needs no pump or booster; the flow is controlled by turning the round handles that open or close the hot-water valve inside the tap body.

The MONOLITH Shower ERA112 is fitted to a sink with two mounting holes spaced 155 mm apart. The operator turns the right-hand handle to start the flow, then guides the 351 mm shower hand over the items in the sink. When the debris is loosened, the left-hand handle is turned to stop the water. The fixed hole spacing and compact body make the unit suitable for smaller sinks or worktops where space is limited.

The tap body and shower hand are constructed in materials chosen for frequent contact with hot water and cleaning chemicals. The handles are round and knurled for a secure grip, even when wet. The 155 mm hole spacing matches standardised sink drilling patterns, so the unit can be installed without additional drilling or adapters.

The height of 600 mm is measured from the base of the tap body to the top of the shower hand when it is hung on its rest. This dimension determines the clearance needed above the sink and the reach of the jet when the hand is extended.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the external surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent to remove grease and water marks. The shower hand should be flushed periodically to clear any debris that may collect inside the nozzle.
