A pre-rinse shower mixer delivers a controlled jet of hot and cold water through a single lever, removing food debris from pots, pans and utensils before they enter the wash cycle. The mixer blends water at the tap, sending it through a flexible hose to a shower head that disperses the flow into a broad, even spray. This design reduces water use by concentrating pressure where it is needed, while the swinging spout lets the operator direct the jet across the full width of the sink without moving the base.
The ERA241 is fitted to the worktop or sink rim with a single hole, securing the mixer body in place. The operator lifts the lever to start the flow, then tilts it forward or back to adjust temperature. The shower head is held by a flexible hose that allows the spout to swing through a wide arc, covering every corner of the sink. When the pre-rinse is complete, the lever is returned to the closed position and the spout can be left hanging or parked against the mixer body.
Construction is a brass body with a chrome-plated finish for resistance to corrosion and staining. The swinging C-spout measures 200 mm from the pivot to the outlet, with an 18 mm diameter tube that maintains water pressure. The hose length of 371 mm gives enough reach to cover a standard catering sink without excess slack that could tangle or drag.
The single-hole installation simplifies plumbing and keeps the worktop clear. The mini version reduces the footprint while retaining full functionality for smaller sinks or compact wash stations.
Cleaning involves wiping the chrome surface with a damp cloth to remove water marks and detergent residue. The shower head can be detached for descaling if limescale builds up, and the hose should be checked periodically for kinks or wear.
