MONOLITH Shower with Mixer for Pre-Rinse Stations

A pre-rinse shower unit clears plates and utensils by directing a high-pressure stream of hot and cold water through a flexible hose and spray head. The mixer valve blends the two supplies into a single flow at the temperature the operator selects, allowing immediate use without waiting for the water to heat or cool. The extension arm holds the spout and shower head above the sink, keeping the spray within the basin while giving the operator room to manoeuvre large trays or pots beneath it.

The unit mounts through a single hole in the worktop or splashback. The operator turns the round handles to open the hot and cold valves, adjusting the blend until the water reaches the desired temperature. The C-shaped spout swings left and right, and the shower head detaches from its bracket for hand-held use when a direct jet is needed to dislodge stubborn debris. The hose remains connected to the mixer body, so the operator can switch between fixed and mobile spraying without shutting off the water.

Construction is a single pre-drilled body that carries the mixer cartridge, the extension arm, the C-spout and the shower head bracket. Round handles give a positive grip and a clear visual indication of the valve position, helping the operator set the same temperature each time.

The unit requires a single-hole installation, which simplifies mounting and reduces the number of potential leak points. The extension arm and C-spout keep the spray pattern within the sink area, minimising splashing onto adjacent work surfaces. The detachable shower head allows targeted cleaning of large or awkwardly shaped items that cannot be positioned under the fixed spout.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the external surfaces with a damp cloth to remove grease and water marks. The shower head should be flushed periodically to clear any debris that may accumulate in the spray nozzles, ensuring consistent water flow and pressure.
