One-hole pre-rinse mixer unit featuring a swinging spout positioned in the middle of the support tube for balanced and comfortable operation.
A shower mixer combines hot and cold water in a single unit, delivering a steady, adjustable flow without sudden temperature swings. The built-in thermostatic element blends the two supplies, allowing the operator to set the exact warmth needed for rinsing, cleaning or filling. This method avoids the need for separate taps and gives consistent results even when other appliances draw water elsewhere in the kitchen.
The Monolith shower mixer is operated with a short chromed lever handle. A slight turn to the left or right raises or lowers the temperature, while lifting the lever increases the flow. The attached Basic hand shower directs the water where it is needed, whether over a deep sink, a worktop or a container. The shower head is held in a bracket when not in use, keeping the hose clear of the work surface.
The mixer body and handle are finished in chrome plating, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen. The hand shower and hose are designed for frequent use, with a smooth surface that prevents food debris from sticking.
The short lever handle allows one-handed operation, freeing the other hand to hold a pot, a tray or a cloth. The mixer is mounted on a worktop or a wall, depending on the kitchen layout, and connects to standard hot and cold water supplies. The chrome finish matches other Monolith taps and fittings, maintaining a uniform appearance across the kitchen.
Cleaning involves wiping the chrome surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent to remove grease and water marks. The hand shower can be detached and rinsed under running water to clear any blockages in the spray holes. The hose should be checked periodically for kinks or wear, and replaced if the outer coating shows signs of cracking.
