An apple peeler removes the skin and core from apples in one continuous motion, turning whole fruit into ready-to-cook slices or rings. The appliance holds the apple on a spike that rotates against a fixed blade. As the apple turns, the blade shaves away the peel in a spiral; a second, curved blade follows the contour of the fruit and cuts out the core. The result is a peeled, cored apple that can be sliced or left whole for baking, stewing or processing into purée.
To operate the peeler, the operator pushes the apple onto the spike until it is firmly seated. A clamp is then tightened to hold the fruit securely. The handle is turned steadily, and the apple rotates against the blades. Once the peel and core are removed, the apple is lifted off the spike and the next fruit is loaded. The process is repeated for each apple, with no need to adjust the blades between uses.
The Neumarker L05-90061 is built as a manual tabletop unit. Its frame and components are sized to fit on a standard worktop without crowding adjacent equipment. The weight of 2 kg allows the unit to be moved easily between storage and use, while still remaining stable during operation.
The footprint of 315–390 mm by 125 mm means the peeler can be positioned on a narrow shelf or at the end of a preparation line. The height of 210 mm keeps the working surface at a comfortable level for standing operators.
Cleaning is limited to the parts that contact the fruit. The blades and spike are wiped down after each session, and the clamp mechanism is checked for trapped peel. No disassembly is required for routine upkeep, and the unit is stored dry to prevent corrosion.
