Basket press for ice cream bowls.
The price is shown without transport costs.
A basket press shapes waffle dough into small, even bowls that hold ice cream scoops. The press closes around the dough, imprinting a pattern while heating it just enough to set the shape. As the waffle cools, it stiffens into a rigid basket that keeps its form without cracking or sticking.
The operator places a portion of waffle batter onto the lower plate, closes the press, and holds it shut for a few seconds. The non-stick coating releases the warm waffle cleanly, and the basket is left to cool on a rack until it becomes firm. No greasing or flouring is needed between batches.
The press is made of cast aluminium, chosen for its light weight and quick heat transfer. The non-stick surface covers both plates, preventing dough from adhering and reducing waste. At 2 kg, the press can be moved easily between workstations or stored in a cupboard when not in use.
The 50 mm diameter matches standard ice cream scoop sizes, ensuring each basket holds one portion neatly. The pattern pressed into the waffle adds strength and a decorative finish, while the cooling step locks the shape in place.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the plates with a damp cloth after use, as the non-stick coating resists build-up. No disassembly is required, and the aluminium body does not corrode under normal kitchen conditions.
