A chocolate fountain circulates melted chocolate in a continuous curtain over three tiers, letting guests dip fruit, pastries or marshmallows. The unit heats the chocolate from below with an electric element, keeping it at the right consistency so it flows smoothly down the spiral tiers without hardening or burning. The fountain's pump draws the warm chocolate from the base and lifts it to the top tier, where gravity takes over and the chocolate cascades down each level in a thin, even sheet. This method gives a consistent flow and an attractive display without manual stirring or reheating.
To operate, fill the base bowl with 2.7 to 5 kg of couverture chocolate. Plug the unit into a 230 V supply and switch it on. The built-in thermostat brings the chocolate to the correct temperature for melting and holding. Once the chocolate is fully liquid, start the pump; the chocolate will rise to the top tier and begin its descent. Guests can dip items directly into the flowing chocolate on any of the three tiers. When service is finished, switch off the pump and the heating element, then unplug the unit.
The fountain is built from food-safe materials. The bowl, tiers and pump housing are stainless steel, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning. The base is a sturdy metal frame that supports the weight of the chocolate and the tiers without flexing. A single control panel on the base houses the power switch, the pump switch and the indicator light that shows when the heating element is active.
The 2.7–5 kg capacity allows the fountain to run for extended service without refilling, while the 0.51 kW power rating keeps the load on the circuit low enough for a standard kitchen outlet. The 24.3 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people; it is not designed to be carried by one person. The 380 mm diameter footprint fits on most buffet tables or worktops, and the 690 mm height clears headroom while still allowing guests to reach the top tier comfortably.
After use, disassemble the tiers and pump. Wash all parts that contact chocolate in warm water with mild detergent, rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembly. The heating element and pump motor are sealed and should not be immersed; wipe them with a damp cloth only.
The Neumarker L05-51021 is a single model with no variants. It is listed in the catering equipment catalogue under Chocolate Fountains, Buffet Display.
