A saddleback roof raclette melts cheese under overhead heat and grills small items on the sloping surfaces. The curved roof concentrates radiant heat onto the raclette pans below, while the angled sides act as a grill for meats, vegetables or bread. This design keeps the cheese at an even melt without scorching and allows simultaneous grilling, so the operator can prepare complete servings at once.
The operator places filled raclette pans on the base, then positions meats or vegetables on the sloping grill surfaces. The unit heats both zones at once, controlled by a single thermostat. When the cheese is melted and the grill items are cooked, the pans and grilled items are removed together, ready to serve.
The Neumarker saddleback roof raclette is built in stainless steel for durability and hygiene. The roof and base are one continuous sheet, minimising seams where food debris could collect. The 445 mm width fits two standard raclette pans side by side, while the 215 mm depth allows it to sit on a worktop without overhang. The 300 mm height clears most serving dishes underneath.
A single rotary control sets the temperature for both the roof and grill surfaces. The 0.9 kW power rating draws a modest load on a standard 230 V circuit, suitable for most professional kitchens without dedicated wiring. The 3.2 kg weight allows the unit to be moved between workstations or stored when not in use.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces after each service and removing any food debris from the grill slopes. The continuous construction with few seams simplifies daily upkeep, while the compact footprint reduces the space that must be kept clean.
This model is a single unit with no variants. It is categorised under tabletop grills and speciality cooking equipment in the professional catering catalogue.
