A sausage cutter divides cooked or chilled sausages into even slices without crushing the casing. The TW6 uses a sliding carriage that holds the sausage steady while a blade moves across at a fixed interval. Each pass produces a slice of identical thickness, so portions are uniform and waste is kept to a minimum.
To operate, the operator places the sausage into the carriage channel, aligns the end with the zero mark, and closes the safety guard. A lever advances the carriage one slice width at a time; the blade then cuts and retracts. The process repeats until the sausage is fully portioned. The guard prevents contact with the blade during the cutting stroke, and the carriage locks when the guard is open.
The TW6 is built in stainless steel throughout, with a smooth carriage track and a blade that can be removed for sharpening. The unit stands on four non-slip feet that keep it stable on a worktop. Controls consist of a single lever that both advances the carriage and triggers the blade.
The 22 cm maximum sausage length accommodates standard catering sausages, while the 2 kg weight allows the cutter to be moved between stations without lifting equipment. The 270 × 180 × 180 mm footprint fits on a standard worktop or shelf, leaving space for trays of sliced product alongside.
Cleaning involves removing the blade, wiping the carriage and track with a damp cloth, and drying all surfaces before reassembly. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and can be sanitised with standard kitchen disinfectants.
The TW6 is listed in the Neumarker catalogue under Sausage Preparation Equipment.
