Novameta Additional Shelf for Metal Cupboards

An additional shelf doubles the storage tiers in a metal cupboard without altering the original frame. It rests on the same vertical supports that carry the factory shelves, so the extra tier sits level and secure without extra brackets or tools.

The shelf is cut to the exact width and depth of the cupboard interior, matching the existing shelves millimetre for millimetre. This ensures every tray, pan or container that fits the original shelves will also fit the new one, keeping workflows unchanged. Because the shelf is made from the same gauge metal as the cupboard, it carries the same distributed load without sagging or warping over time.

Installation requires no drilling or permanent modification. The operator lifts the shelf into place, aligns the locating notches with the vertical supports, and lowers it until it clicks into position. The process takes less than a minute and can be reversed just as quickly if the extra capacity is no longer needed.

The shelf is constructed from the same corrosion-resistant metal as the cupboard, finished in the same satin coating to resist scratches and spills. It adds no extra cleaning steps; the surface wipes clean with the same detergent and cloth used on the rest of the unit.
