A stainless-steel worktable that raises or lowers its grid shelf to match the task at hand. The shelf slides on vertical rails, letting kitchen staff set the height without tools. This adjustability keeps ingredients, utensils or small appliances within easy reach whether the user is chopping at standing height, plating at a lower level, or transferring items to a nearby appliance without bending or stretching. The table provides a flat, rigid worktop supported by a welded frame. A grid shelf beneath holds trays, containers or lightweight equipment, keeping them off the floor and organised. The open grid allows air to circulate, reducing condensation and making the shelf easier to clean. To use the table, the operator loads the worktop with the items needed for the current task. The grid shelf is then raised or lowered by hand to the desired height and locked in place. Once the task is complete, the shelf can be returned to its original position or left at the new height for the next operation. The stainless-steel frame and grid shelf shrug off splashes, steam and scrubbing brushes every time the pastry bench is hosed down at shift change. The worktop is a single sheet with rolled edges, while the grid shelf is formed from intersecting rods welded to a perimeter frame. The legs are tubular and fitted with adjustable feet to level the table on uneven floors. The only control is the height-adjustment mechanism, which consists of a spring-loaded pin that engages with holes in the vertical rails. Pulling the pin releases the shelf; releasing the pin locks it at the selected height. A 500 mm depth provides enough space for most prep tasks without extending too far into the kitchen aisle. The 600 mm width allows two people to work side by side or a single operator to spread out ingredients and tools. The 900 mm overall height places the worktop at a comfortable standing level for most adults, while the adjustable shelf can be set anywhere below it. Cleaning is straightforward: the worktop and grid shelf are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each use. The open grid and smooth surfaces prevent food debris from accumulating, and the stainless steel withstands the chemicals used in professional kitchens. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure the table remains stable. Two widths are available: 650 mm and 700 mm, each with the same 500 mm depth and 900 mm height. The table is listed in the catalogue under stainless-steel worktables and prep surfaces.
