A modular storage unit organises dry goods, utensils or small equipment off the worktop and behind closing doors. The adjustable shelf divides the interior into two levels, letting the operator assign each level to a different category of items without fixed partitions taking up space.
The unit stands on the floor and is moved by hand when the kitchen layout changes. Shutting doors keep contents out of sight and reduce airborne dust settling on stored items. The doors open fully to give clear access to the entire shelf area, so loading and unloading are not restricted by a narrow opening.
To use the module, the operator slides the shelf up or down the vertical supports to the desired height, then loads the items. The doors close by hand and stay shut without a latch, keeping the contents secure while the unit is moved. When the kitchen is reorganised, the shelf is repositioned or removed entirely, leaving a single large space.
The frame and doors are constructed from standardised sheet metal, finished in a smooth surface that wipes clean with a damp cloth. The shelf is a flat metal tray that rests on adjustable brackets, so it is lifted out for separate cleaning or to create a single tall compartment.
The footprint of 400 mm width and 670 mm depth fits between standard worktop runs and under wall cupboards. The height adjusts from 825 mm to 890 mm, allowing the unit to align with adjacent counters or to clear low obstacles. An additional shelf is available as an option, increasing the storage capacity without changing the external dimensions.
Cleaning involves wiping the metal surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The shelf is removed to clean the interior and the brackets. The doors are wiped on both sides to remove fingerprints and dust.
The module is part of the Novameta storage system, designed for professional kitchens where layout changes are frequent and storage needs vary by service.
