BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
An equipment shelf creates a fixed, stable platform above the worktop where appliances, containers and utensils are kept within reach without cluttering the preparation surface. The shelf is mounted on wall brackets that transfer the weight directly to the wall structure, so the load does not rest on the worktop or floor. This arrangement keeps the floor clear for cleaning and allows the shelf to support heavier items than a freestanding unit of the same size. Three shelves give three separate levels, each holding up to the stated capacity. The operator loads each shelf from the front, placing the heaviest items on the lowest shelf to keep the centre of gravity low and the unit stable. Once mounted, the shelf remains in place, ready for daily use without further assembly. The frame and shelves are made of stainless steel, chosen for resistance to moisture, corrosion and repeated cleaning. Two wall brackets secure the unit to the wall; the shelf itself has no legs or base that could collect dirt or obstruct mopping. Controls are not applicable; the shelf is a static structure. The 700 mm width provides space for standard catering trays and small appliances, while the 500 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach. The 999 mm height places the top shelf at a convenient working level without requiring a step. A 50 kg load capacity per shelf allows the storage of heavy appliances such as mixers, processors or bulk containers without risk of deformation. Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent; the open construction prevents dirt from accumulating in corners or joints. The welded frame arrives ready to bolt directly to the wall studs, cutting installation time in a busy kitchen. Other sizes are available, and the manufacturer can produce shelves to individual drawings and project specifications. The shelf is catalogued under professional kitchen storage and shelving systems.
