A stainless-steel worktop with built-in drip grids provides a hygienic, flat surface for food preparation while collecting any liquids that drain from meats, fish or vegetables. The grids sit above shallow troughs so that juices and wash water flow away from the work area, keeping the top clean and reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
The unit stands on four adjustable feet, allowing the operator to level it on uneven floors. Two separate grids are supplied, each with its own height tolerance: one grid is set 650 mm above the floor with a 3% adjustment range, the other 700 mm with a 5% range. This dual-height arrangement lets staff organise tasks at different working levels without moving food between separate tables.
Assembly is straightforward: the legs bolt to the underside of the top, the grids drop into the troughs, and the feet are turned until the unit is stable. Once in place, the worktop remains stationary; there are no wheels or handles for moving it.
The entire structure is made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitising. The top surface is seamless, with no crevices where food particles can lodge. The grids and troughs are also stainless, so they can be lifted out and scrubbed in a sink or under a tap.
No electrical or gas connections are required; the table is purely mechanical. It occupies a footprint of 1600 mm by 600 mm, giving a generous work area without taking up excessive floor space in a busy kitchen.
Cleaning involves removing the grids, wiping down the troughs, and washing the top with hot water and detergent. Because there are no motors, seals or filters, upkeep is limited to keeping the steel surfaces free of grease and food debris.
