A solid work surface that moves to the height the kitchen needs, this Novameta table keeps ingredients, utensils and small appliances within reach without bending or stretching. The pressed sandwich top spreads weight evenly, so trays, pots and prep bowls stay level under load. A welded stainless steel frame carries the weight down to four adjustable feet, letting the operator set the working height between 800 mm and 1000 mm to suit the task or the user. The feet can be raised or lowered by up to 65 mm to level the table on uneven floors, keeping the surface stable and spill-free.
The table is built in two widths: 650 mm and 700 mm, each with a 2100 mm length. A shelf below the worktop provides a second level of storage or staging, doubling the usable area without increasing the footprint. Both the top and the shelf support up to 120 kg when the load is spread evenly, so heavy containers or stacked trays can be placed anywhere. The underside of the shelf is open, allowing air to circulate and making it easy to slide larger items in and out.
Height adjustment is controlled by a panel on the front edge of the table. The mechanism is enclosed to keep out dust and spills, and the controls are designed for quick, quiet operation. Once set, the table stays at the chosen height until the next change, so the same station can be used for chopping at one height and plating at another without stopping work.
The frame is made of 40 mm square stainless steel tube, giving strength without bulk. The legs are welded to the frame for rigidity, and the feet are threaded for fine adjustment. A low-noise design means the table does not add to kitchen clatter when it is moved or adjusted. The worktop can be ordered with or without an upstand, so it can be used as a standalone unit or butted against a wall or another table.
In a professional kitchen, the footprint of 2100 mm by 600 mm (or 700 mm) determines the space the table occupies on the floor. The 900 mm overall height allows it to fit under standard worktop extractors and shelving. The 120 kg load rating per surface means the table can hold bulk ingredients, heavy equipment or multiple trays without risk of sagging or tipping. The adjustable feet ensure the table remains level on uneven floors, preventing liquids from pooling and tools from rolling.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel frame and feet can be wiped down with a damp cloth, and the pressed sandwich top is sealed to resist moisture and stains. The height control panel is smooth and flush, so there are no crevices to trap dirt. The shelf below is open on all sides, so there are no corners to collect debris, and it can be removed for thorough cleaning if needed.
