BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
An equipment shelf organises heavy appliances and utensils above the worktop, keeping the floor clear and the kitchen workflow efficient. The shelf is fixed to the wall with brackets, transferring the weight directly to the building structure rather than relying on legs that can shift or weaken over time. Stainless steel shelves resist moisture, grease and cleaning chemicals, so they stay hygienic and do not corrode even in humid or high-traffic environments. The Novameta BHS 1500-5 shelf is assembled by mounting two wall brackets at the correct spacing, then sliding three horizontal shelves into place. Each shelf is positioned at a height that allows appliances to be stored without obstructing access to the worktop below. The operator loads equipment onto the shelves, ensuring the 50 kg maximum capacity per shelf is not exceeded. The flat surface and open design make it easy to wipe down after use, preventing the build-up of dust or food debris. The construction uses stainless steel throughout, chosen for its strength and resistance to corrosion. Two wall brackets support the three shelves, creating a stable frame that does not sway or flex under load. The shelves are 1500 mm long, 500 mm deep and the unit stands 999 mm high, providing ample storage without taking up excessive wall space. The shelf is designed for a 50 kg load capacity per shelf, which means it can hold commercial mixers, food processors or stacks of gastronorm containers without bending or warping. The 1500 mm length accommodates standard catering equipment, while the 500 mm depth allows items to be stored safely without overhanging the edge. The 999 mm height positions the shelves at a convenient working level, reducing the need to bend or stretch when accessing stored items. Stainless steel shelves shrug off kitchen splashes and grease, so a quick wipe restores the hygienic finish that health inspectors demand. The open design ensures no crevices trap dirt, and the corrosion-resistant material does not require protective coatings or special treatments. The Novameta BHS range includes various lengths and widths, and custom sizes can be manufactured to match specific kitchen layouts or project requirements.
