A double-tier wall shelf creates two levels of storage above the worktop without taking floor space. The shelf is fixed to the wall with brackets, leaving the area below clear for trolleys, bins or foot traffic. Each tier holds ingredients, crockery or small appliances within easy reach of the chef, keeping the work surface uncluttered.
The shelf is mounted at a standard height that allows staff to slide trays and containers on and off without stretching or bending. Because it is fixed to the wall, the load is transferred directly to the building structure, so the shelf can carry heavier items than a freestanding unit of the same size.
To install, mark the fixing points on the wall, drill and insert wall plugs, then bolt the brackets into place. The shelf panels are then slotted onto the brackets and secured. Once mounted, the shelf remains stable and does not sway or tilt, even when fully loaded.
The shelf is constructed from stainless steel, which resists corrosion from steam, splashes and cleaning chemicals. The surface is smooth and seamless, so spills do not collect in crevices and can be wiped away quickly. The edges are folded to prevent sharp corners and to add rigidity.
Overall dimensions are 600 mm wide, 500 mm deep and 666 mm high. The 600 mm width matches standard worktop depths and fits between wall-mounted equipment such as hobs or grills. The 500 mm depth allows trays and containers to overhang slightly without toppling. The 666 mm height provides two tiers of storage while keeping the top shelf within comfortable reach for most staff.
Cleaning involves wiping the shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Because the shelf is open and has no doors or drawers, there are no hidden areas where dirt can accumulate. The stainless steel finish does not require polishing or protective coatings, so maintenance is limited to routine wiping after service.
