Novameta Double Wall Shelf for Professional Kitchens, 900 mm

A double-tiered wall shelf creates organised storage above the worktop without claiming floor space. Each tier is fixed to the wall with brackets, leaving the area beneath clear for trolleys, bins or foot traffic. The open design allows air to circulate around stored items, reducing condensation on pans and trays that have been washed or chilled.

The shelf is built as two identical horizontal platforms mounted one above the other. Each platform is a single sheet of metal, so there are no seams or lips where dirt can collect. The edges are folded down to form a rim that keeps items from sliding off during busy service. Because the shelf is fixed to the wall, the load is transferred directly to the building structure rather than through legs or casters, allowing a higher weight capacity for the same footprint.

To install, the wall brackets are first secured to the wall at the required height. The shelf tiers are then lifted onto the brackets and locked in place with the supplied fixings. Once mounted, each tier can be loaded with up to 40 kg of equipment, ingredients or packaged goods. The 900 mm width accommodates standard gastronorm trays side by side, while the 400 mm depth keeps stored items within easy reach of kitchen staff.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to corrosion from steam, splashes and cleaning chemicals. The surface is smooth and non-porous, so spills can be wiped away without leaving residue. There are no moving parts, motors or electrical connections, so maintenance is limited to regular wiping with a damp cloth and occasional tightening of the wall fixings.

The shelf is supplied as a single unit with two tiers, 900 mm wide, 400 mm deep and 666 mm high overall.
