BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
An equipment shelf organises heavy appliances and utensils where floor space is limited. The unit stands clear of the wall on two brackets, leaving the worktop or counter beneath free for other tasks. Three shelves distribute the load evenly, preventing overhang and keeping the centre of gravity low. Stainless steel resists moisture, grease and cleaning chemicals, so the shelf stays stable and hygienic through daily use in a commercial kitchen or food-production area.
The operator loads each shelf from the front, placing heavier items on the lower shelves and lighter ones above. The 1400 mm width accommodates standard catering equipment such as bain-maries, mixers or storage bins without overhang. Two wall brackets transfer the weight directly to the wall structure, so the shelf does not rely on the floor for support and can be installed above existing worktops or cupboards.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, with no coatings or joints that could trap dirt. The 50 kg load rating per shelf matches the weight of professional appliances, allowing each shelf to carry a full set of pots, a countertop appliance or bulk ingredients without deflection. The 300 mm depth keeps items within easy reach while leaving room for a tap or splashback behind.
Controls are not required; the shelf is fixed in place once installed. The 1400 mm width fits standard kitchen modules, while the 999 mm height allows three shelves to be stacked within a typical worktop-to-ceiling clearance. The 50 kg capacity per shelf determines the circuit it can serve: a single shelf can hold a heavy-duty mixer, while three shelves can organise a full station of smaller appliances.
Cleaning follows from the materials: stainless steel wipes clean with a damp cloth and commercial detergent. The open construction prevents dust traps, and the absence of moving parts means no lubrication or adjustment is needed. Shelves can be removed individually for thorough cleaning or reconfiguration.
Variants include different widths and depths; custom sizes are manufactured to order from individual drawings. The shelf is designed for professional kitchens, food-production facilities and industrial storage areas where hygiene, stability and load capacity are critical.
