A refrigerated work surface that sits level with the surrounding countertop, keeping prepared ingredients or plated dishes chilled without breaking the line of the worktop. The unit draws heat away from the stainless steel top through a concealed evaporator coil, circulating cold air just beneath the surface. This method keeps the entire area at a steady -5 °C, preventing warm spots that can spoil food during service or display.
To use, the operator simply places food directly on the cold top or in standard gastronorm trays that slot into the four 1/1 GN wells. The integrated control panel on the front edge allows the temperature to be set and monitored without opening the unit. Once loaded, the surface remains cold continuously, so there is no need to cycle the compressor on and off during service.
Construction is a single stainless steel shell with a flush front edge, designed to integrate seamlessly with existing worktops. The 1280 mm width provides enough space for four full-size gastronorm trays side by side, while the 510 mm depth fits within standard counter depths. At 480 mm high, the unit is low enough to slide under overhead cupboards or shelves.
The control panel offers a simple temperature adjustment and a digital display that shows the current setting. The 0.59 kW power rating indicates a modest electrical load, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase circuit commonly found in professional kitchens.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel top with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The flush design eliminates crevices where debris can collect, making daily upkeep straightforward. No internal components are exposed, so there is no need to disassemble the unit for routine cleaning.
The unit is supplied as a single 1280 mm model, designed for flush installation with the worktop.
