A height-adjustable worktop lets the kitchen team set the surface to the task. Gas struts bear the load, so the operator lifts only the weight of the top and whatever rests on it. The struts lock at the chosen height, holding the position without power or hydraulics until the next adjustment.
To change the height, the operator presses a release lever under the front edge. The struts extend or retract smoothly, raising or lowering the top until the lever is released. Once the lever is let go, the struts lock in place, securing the new height for chopping, garnishing, carving or service.
The table stands on a 2000 mm by 600 mm base, giving a clear work area without fixed legs in the way. The top adjusts from 650 mm to 900 mm above the floor, covering the standard heights for prep benches, plating counters and service pass-throughs.
The frame and top are stainless steel, chosen for resistance to moisture, heat and cleaning chemicals. The gas struts are sealed units, protected from splashes and grease.
A single lever under the front edge controls the height adjustment. No power supply or tools are needed.
The 2000 mm length provides space for multiple stations side by side, while the 600 mm depth keeps the reach within easy arm's length. The adjustable height range allows the same table to serve as a low prep bench, a mid-height plating counter or a high pass-through for service.
The stainless-steel construction resists corrosion and withstands daily cleaning with detergents and sanitisers. The gas struts require no maintenance beyond keeping the mechanism free of debris.
Two top thicknesses are available: 650 mm plus 3% for non-food contact areas, and 700 mm plus 5% for food contact surfaces.
