A height adjustable worktable creates a worktop that moves up or down to match the task and the operator. The mechanism raises or lowers the entire surface on a scissor or screw lift, driven by a motor or manual crank. This flexibility removes the need to bend or stretch, reducing strain during long shifts and allowing the same unit to serve for food prep, plating, cleaning or assembly at different stations.
The operator selects the desired height with a control on the frame, then loads the worktop with ingredients, utensils or equipment. Once the surface is at the chosen level, it locks in place and remains stable under load. When the task is complete, the table is cleared and the height reset for the next use or for storage.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, chosen for hygiene and resistance to corrosion in a kitchen environment. The frame supports the adjustable mechanism and the worktop, which is sized to hold standard gastronorm trays and cutting boards without overhang. Two worktop thicknesses are available: 650 mm for general use and 700 mm for tasks that require additional surface area.
Controls consist of an up/down switch or crank handle, depending on the drive system fitted. The switch or handle sets the worktop height and locks it once the desired position is reached.
A footprint of 2100 mm by 600 mm fits into a standard kitchen aisle or against a wall, leaving room for movement and adjacent equipment. The 900 mm overall height allows clearance for overhead cupboards or ventilation while keeping the worktop within reach when lowered.
Cleaning follows from the stainless steel construction: the worktop and frame are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each shift. The adjustable mechanism is kept free of debris to ensure smooth operation, and moving parts are lubricated periodically as the manufacturer recommends.
Two variants are offered: one with a 650 mm deep worktop and one with a 700 mm deep worktop, each suited to different kitchen workflows and space constraints.
