A height adjustable worktable creates a stable surface at the exact working level the kitchen team needs. The legs extend or retract so the platen sits at the right height for chopping, rolling pastry, assembling dishes or plating. Adjustment removes the strain of bending or reaching, letting staff work faster and with less fatigue over long shifts.
The table stands on four adjustable legs that lock once the desired height is reached. Each leg is fitted with a foot that levels the unit on uneven floors, preventing wobble during use. The platen itself is a flat sheet of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to heat, moisture and cleaning chemicals. Two platen thicknesses are available: 650 µm for general food preparation and 700 µm for heavier tasks such as rolling dough or supporting mixers.
To set up the table, the operator extends or shortens each leg in turn until the platen is level and at the required height. The legs lock into place, securing the table for immediate use. The large 2500 mm length provides ample space for multiple stations or large trays, while the 600 mm depth fits neatly against walls or between other equipment without overcrowding the kitchen.
The stainless steel platen is seamless and polished, allowing food and spills to be wiped away without sticking. The edges are folded down to form a rim, preventing liquids from running onto the floor. The underside of the platen is open, so any condensation or spills drain away rather than pooling.
The table is designed to be moved when needed; its 900 mm overall height allows it to pass through standard doorways. The 2500 mm length and 600 mm width define the footprint it occupies on the kitchen floor, so the space can be planned around it. The adjustable legs mean the same table can be raised for standing work or lowered for seated tasks, adapting to different shifts and staff preferences.
Cleaning is straightforward: the platen is wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each service. The legs and feet are cleaned with a mild detergent to remove grease or food debris. The open underside of the platen means no hidden corners where dirt can accumulate, reducing the time spent on deep cleaning.
