A stainless steel worktable that rises and lowers to suit the task at hand, from chopping at standing height to rolling pastry at seated level. The table's legs are threaded and fitted with locking collars, allowing the operator to turn each corner independently until the surface is level and at the desired working height. Once set, the collars lock the legs in place, creating a stable platform that does not wobble under load.
The principle is simple: each leg is a vertical screw that moves up or down when turned. Because all four legs are adjusted separately, the table can be levelled on uneven floors or tilted deliberately for tasks such as draining trays. The adjustment range is built into the leg length, so the table can be lowered for seated work or raised for standing tasks without tools or additional parts.
To set the height, the operator unlocks the collar at each leg, turns the leg until the table is at the required height, then re-tightens the collar to lock the leg in position. The process is repeated for all four legs, ensuring the table remains level and secure. Once adjusted, the table remains at that height until the next change is needed, allowing the kitchen to organise workspaces around the task rather than the fixed height of a standard table.
Construction is stainless steel throughout, with a solid top and tubular legs. The top is available in two standard depths: 650 mm for general prep and 700 mm for tasks that require extra space, such as plating or holding trays. The legs are adjustable within the range given by the overall height of 900 mm, allowing the table to be set anywhere within that span.
The table's footprint is 2400 mm long by 600 mm deep, providing a generous work surface that fits standard kitchen layouts. The 600 mm depth is narrow enough to allow multiple tables to be placed side by side without crowding, while the 2400 mm length offers ample space for multiple users or large trays. The overall height of 900 mm is the maximum; the table can be lowered below this figure by adjusting the legs.
Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel top and legs can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitiser, and the adjustable collars require occasional lubrication to keep them turning smoothly. No disassembly is needed for routine cleaning, and the lack of motors or electronics means there are no hidden areas where dirt can accumulate.
Two variants are available: one with a 650 mm deep top and one with a 700 mm deep top, allowing the table to be matched to the specific tasks it will support.
