An integrated waste chute on the door keeps kitchen waste out of sight and off the worktop without breaking the cook's rhythm. The chute is built into the door panel, so scraps drop straight from the prep area into a bin or container below. No separate bin on the floor, no lid to lift, and no need to step away from the work surface.

The principle is simple: a hinged or sliding panel in the door opens to create a clear passage from the worktop level down to the waste container. Gravity does the work; the operator pushes scraps through the opening and they fall directly into the bin. The chute itself is a smooth, unobstructed channel that prevents jams and keeps the flow steady. Because the chute is part of the door, it does not take up counter space or require extra floor clearance.

To use it, the operator opens the chute panel, scrapes waste from the worktop into the opening, and closes the panel again. The bin below can be wheeled away when full without moving the appliance. The chute is positioned at standard worktop height, so the motion stays natural and comfortable.

Construction is a single aluminium frame set into the door, with a stainless-steel chute liner for easy cleaning. The panel mechanism is designed to stay clear of the door's normal swing, so the chute can be used whether the door is open or closed.

Cleaning is a wipe-down of the chute liner and a quick check of the panel mechanism for smooth operation. No disassembly is needed; the liner lifts out for deeper cleaning if required.
