BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf system holds professional catering equipment above the worktop, freeing floor space and keeping appliances within easy reach. Two horizontal trays are fixed to the wall with separate brackets, creating a stable platform that supports the weight of mixers, blenders, processors or heated bain-maries without sagging or shifting. The vertical gap between the shelves allows air to circulate, reducing heat build-up around appliances and making cleaning underneath straightforward.
The operator positions the shelf at a convenient working height, secures the brackets to the wall with suitable fixings, then slides each tray into its bracket until it locks. Once loaded, the shelf remains static; there are no moving parts to adjust or maintain. The weight of the equipment is transferred directly through the brackets to the wall, so the load rating depends on the strength of the wall and the fixings used as well as the shelf itself.
The unit is constructed from stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to moisture, corrosion and daily wear in a commercial kitchen. Two shelves are supplied, each supported by its own pair of wall brackets. The overall footprint is 500 mm wide, 300 mm deep and 666 mm high, giving a compact installation that fits between standard worktop heights and overhead cupboards.
Controls are not applicable; the shelf is a static structure. The 50 kg load capacity applies to the entire unit when properly fixed to a solid wall, allowing it to carry most countertop catering appliances without risk of deformation. The weight of the shelf itself is light enough to be handled by one person during installation, yet the material thickness ensures rigidity under load.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent; no disassembly is required. The smooth finish and absence of crevices prevent dirt accumulation and meet hygiene standards for food preparation areas.
Variants in width and length are available, and custom sizes can be manufactured to match individual kitchen layouts or specific equipment dimensions.
