BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
An equipment shelf provides a fixed, stable platform above the worktop where appliances, containers and utensils are kept within arm's reach without cluttering the preparation surface. The shelves are supported by vertical brackets bolted to the wall, transferring the weight directly to the building structure rather than the worktop or floor. This method keeps the shelf level and secure even when fully loaded, and leaves the floor clear for cleaning and movement of trolleys or staff. The operator positions the shelf by marking the bracket locations on the wall, drilling and fixing the brackets with suitable anchors, then sliding the shelves into place and securing them with the supplied clips. Once installed, each shelf becomes a permanent fixture that can be loaded, unloaded and wiped down without adjustment. The Novameta LSI3-190-50-99 is constructed from stainless steel throughout. The shelves and brackets are formed from sheet steel, giving a smooth, seamless surface that resists moisture and corrosion. The 1900 mm length spans a typical section of wall, while the 500 mm depth allows appliances or containers to sit fully on the shelf without overhang. Three shelves are provided, each rated for a distributed load of 50 kg, so the total capacity depends on how the weight is spread across them. The shelf is controlled only by the installation process; once fixed, no further adjustments are needed. The 50 kg load rating per shelf determines which appliances can be stored: mixers, bain-maries, ingredient bins and small ovens are typical examples. The 1900 mm width dictates the wall space required, while the 999 mm height sets the vertical clearance above the worktop. The three-bracket design ensures even support along the full length, preventing sag under load. The seamless stainless steel shelves shed food debris and grease during a quick wipe-down, keeping the line moving without cross-contamination. No moving parts or crevices require disassembly, so upkeep is minimal. Variants in length and width are available, and custom sizes can be manufactured to match individual kitchen layouts or equipment dimensions. The shelf is catalogued under professional storage solutions for commercial kitchens, food production and industrial premises.
