BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system creates two worktop-height shelves without floor supports, freeing the floor for trolleys, bins or foot traffic. The shelves are fixed to the wall with brackets that transfer the weight directly to the masonry, so the unit stays rigid even when fully loaded. This method leaves the space beneath the shelves open, making it easier to sweep, mop or move equipment without obstruction.
The operator loads each shelf with ingredients, utensils or small appliances up to the stated capacity. Items are placed directly on the stainless-steel surface, which is smooth enough to slide trays or containers without snagging. The two-tier arrangement keeps frequently used items within arm's reach while doubling the storage area in the same wall footprint.
Two wall brackets support the shelves, each secured with screws or bolts into solid masonry. The shelves themselves are flat stainless-steel panels with turned-down edges that stiffen the plate and prevent items from sliding off. The entire assembly is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion from moisture, steam and cleaning chemicals, and meets food-safety standards for professional kitchens.
The 1300 mm length spans a typical workstation, providing a continuous shelf for trays or containers. The 400 mm depth allows standard gastronorm pans to sit side by side without overhang. The 600 mm height between floor and the lower shelf clears most floor-standing equipment, while the 50 kg load rating per shelf supports bulk ingredients, stacked crockery or small appliances.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent; no disassembly is required. The turned-down edges prevent liquids from dripping behind the shelf, so spills can be wiped away without seepage. The brackets and fixings are also stainless steel, so they can be cleaned in the same way without risk of rust.
The LSX2-130/40/60 is one size in the LSX modular range. Other lengths and depths are available, and the system can be manufactured to individual drawings for bespoke projects. The same brackets and fixings are used across the range, so additional shelves or different sizes can be added later without replacing the entire unit.
The system is designed for professional kitchens, food production facilities and technical rooms where hygiene, durability and efficient use of space are essential.
