BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
The two-tier stainless steel shelves keep heavy pots and sheet pans within arm's reach while freeing the entire counter for prep and plating. The shelves are supported by three wall brackets that transfer the weight directly to the wall structure, allowing each shelf to carry heavy loads safely while keeping the area beneath clear for movement and additional equipment. The two-tier arrangement doubles the usable storage surface in the same vertical footprint. Items placed on the shelves remain within easy reach, reducing the need to bend or stretch, and keeping frequently used tools and ingredients close to the work zone. The open design allows air to circulate freely around stored items, helping to maintain a dry environment and reducing the risk of condensation or spoilage. To install the system, the three wall brackets are first secured to the wall at the required height and spacing. The shelves are then positioned on the brackets and locked in place with the supplied fasteners. Once mounted, the shelves remain fixed; there is no adjustment mechanism, ensuring stability under load. The operator loads each shelf with equipment, containers or ingredients up to the stated capacity, distributing the weight evenly across the surface to prevent overloading any single bracket. Every surface—from the load-bearing brackets to the smallest screw—is made of the same corrosion-resistant steel that meets commercial kitchen hygiene standards. Stainless steel does not corrode in humid or high-temperature environments, resists staining from food acids and alkalis, and withstands repeated cleaning with hot water and sanitisers without degrading. The surfaces are smooth and free of crevices, so dirt and bacteria cannot accumulate, meeting the hygiene standards required in professional kitchens and food production areas. The system is controlled by the physical placement of items on the shelves. There are no electrical or mechanical controls; the user simply places or removes items as needed. The only setting is the initial positioning of the brackets, which determines the height and spacing of the shelves. A load capacity of 50 kg per shelf means the system can support heavy containers, bulk ingredients or multiple smaller items without bending or sagging. The 1600 mm width provides a long continuous surface for organising tools or ingredients in a single row, while the 500 mm depth allows items to be stored two abreast without overhanging the edge. The 600 mm height between the floor and the lower shelf, and between the two shelves, allows standard gastronorm trays and containers to be stored without stacking, making them immediately accessible. Cleaning is straightforward: the shelves and brackets are wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dried to prevent water spots. There are no moving parts to disassemble or lubricate, and the stainless steel does not require protective coatings or treatments. The smooth surfaces prevent dirt from adhering, so cleaning is quick and does not disrupt kitchen operations. The LSX2-160/50/60 is one configuration of the LSX modular system. Other sizes are available, with different lengths and depths to match specific room layouts and workflow requirements. Custom dimensions can be manufactured to order, allowing the system to integrate precisely with existing equipment and space constraints. The system is categorised under professional kitchen storage solutions, specifically wall-mounted shelving for high-load applications.
