BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system creates two worktop-height shelves that keep ingredients, utensils and small equipment within arm's reach without occupying floor space. The LSX2-170/50/60 unit fixes to the wall with three brackets, each carrying part of the total load and preventing sag. The shelves sit parallel, one above the other, so the operator can scan both levels at a glance and reach either without moving the body. This arrangement is common in professional kitchens where the workflow moves along a wall and every step saved adds up over a shift.
The system is built entirely of stainless steel, a material that does not corrode, does not absorb moisture and withstands the frequent hot-water cleaning that food-safety regulations demand. The surface is smooth and non-porous, so spills and splashes can be wiped away without leaving residue or harbouring bacteria. Because the steel is not coated, there is no finish to chip or peel, and the shelf retains its appearance and hygiene properties over years of daily use.
To install, the three wall brackets are first secured to the wall at the correct spacing and height. The shelves are then lowered onto the brackets and locked in place. Once mounted, each shelf can hold up to 50 kg of evenly distributed load. The operator places items directly on the shelf surface; there are no lips or edges to trap dirt, and the open underside allows air to circulate, reducing condensation and speeding drying after cleaning.
The 1700 mm length spans a typical worktop run, while the 500 mm depth matches standard worktop depths, so the shelf aligns with countertop equipment. The 600 mm height between shelves gives enough clearance for most containers and appliances. The three-bracket support prevents the shelf from bowing under load, and the stainless-steel construction resists the heat and steam of a busy kitchen.
Cleaning is straightforward: the shelves and brackets are wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dried to prevent water spots. Because the system is modular, individual shelves can be removed for more thorough cleaning or to reconfigure the spacing if the workflow changes. The absence of moving parts means there is nothing to wear out or adjust over time.
The LSX2-170/50/60 is one size in the Novameta LSX range. Other lengths and depths are available, and the manufacturer can produce custom sizes to match specific room layouts or project requirements. The system is designed for professional use in kitchens, food production facilities and technical rooms where hygiene, load capacity and durability are essential.
