BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system that organises ingredients, utensils and small equipment within arm's reach of the worktop. Two horizontal shelves create two distinct storage levels, doubling the usable surface without extending the footprint. The shelves attach to the wall with three brackets, distributing the load evenly and preventing sag even when fully loaded.
The system is built for environments where space is measured in millimetres and every movement counts. By lifting storage off the floor, the shelves free up the work surface below, allowing staff to slide trolleys, bins or mobile equipment directly underneath. The open construction lets air circulate, reducing condensation and making the shelves easier to clean than enclosed cupboards.
To install, the three wall brackets are first secured to the wall at the correct spacing. The shelves then slot onto the brackets and lock into place without tools. Each shelf can be removed individually for cleaning or reconfiguration. The operator loads each shelf with up to 50 kg of items, keeping heavier containers closer to the wall to maintain balance.
The entire assembly is made of stainless steel, including the shelves, brackets and all fasteners. Stainless steel does not corrode, does not absorb odours and withstands the frequent hot-water wash-downs of a professional kitchen. The surface finish is smooth, with no crevices where food debris can lodge, so a wipe with a damp cloth restores hygiene.
The controls are minimal: the only setting is the position of the shelves on the brackets, which can be adjusted in height if the brackets are mounted on slotted rails. No power, no temperature, no timers—only the physical arrangement of the shelves.
A capacity of 50 kg per shelf means the system can hold bulk ingredients, stacked trays or small appliances without risk of deformation. The 1900 mm width spans the length of a standard worktop, providing continuous storage across the entire prep area. The 500 mm depth matches the reach of an average arm, so items at the back remain accessible without stretching. The 600 mm height between the floor and the lower shelf allows most mobile equipment to pass underneath, while the 600 mm gap between the two shelves is tall enough for stacked gastronorm containers or sheet pans.
Cleaning is straightforward: remove the shelves, wash them in the sink or spray them in place, then wipe the brackets and wall fixings. Stainless steel dries quickly and does not require protective coatings, so the shelves can be back in service within minutes.
The LSX2-190/50/60 is one configuration of the LSX modular system. Other lengths and depths are available, and the manufacturer can produce custom sizes to match specific room layouts or workflow requirements. Project planning and installation services are offered for bespoke solutions, ensuring the shelving integrates precisely with existing equipment and workflows.
The system is catalogued under professional storage solutions for kitchens, food production and technical rooms where hygiene and mechanical reliability are critical.
