BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system organises ingredients, utensils and small equipment within arm's reach of the worktop. Two shelves create separate levels so that items are stacked vertically rather than spread across the counter, freeing workspace while keeping essentials visible and accessible. The shelves are fixed to the wall with three brackets, distributing the weight evenly and preventing sag even when fully loaded. The system is built entirely of stainless steel, a material that does not corrode, resists moisture and heat, and withstands the frequent cleaning demanded in food-service environments. Surfaces are smooth and seamless, leaving no crevices where dirt or bacteria can collect. This construction meets hygiene standards for professional kitchens and food-production areas, where cleanliness is critical and downtime for maintenance must be minimised. To install, the three wall brackets are first secured to the wall at the specified spacing. Once the three stainless-steel brackets are secured to the wall, the two shelves slide on and click firmly into place without tools, ready to bear the full load of stacked gastronorm trays. Once mounted, each shelf can hold up to 50 kg, allowing heavy containers, bulk ingredients or stacked crockery to be stored safely. The 2300 mm length spans a typical section of wall, while the 500 mm depth provides ample room for standard gastronorm trays or large containers without overhanging the worktop below. The 600 mm height between floor and top shelf keeps items within easy reach for most operators, reducing the need to bend or stretch. Because the shelves are open, air circulates freely, helping to keep stored items dry and preventing condensation that can damage packaging or encourage mould. Stainless steel construction also simplifies cleaning. Surfaces can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitising solutions without risk of staining or corrosion. There are no moving parts to disassemble, so maintenance is limited to periodic checks of the wall fixings to ensure continued stability. The LSX2-230/50/60 is one configuration of the LSX modular system. Other lengths and depths are available, and Novameta offers full project development, including custom dimensions, design, manufacturing and installation to match specific kitchen layouts or workflow requirements.
