BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
The stainless steel shelves lock onto the brackets at two heights, letting kitchen staff slide trays of hot pans or stacks of sheet pans directly from the oven rack to the shelf without lifting or bending. The shelves attach to the wall with sturdy brackets, transferring the weight directly to the building structure. This method keeps the shelves level and stable under load, even in busy kitchens where trolleys and heavy containers are moved constantly. Because the shelves are open and unenclosed, air circulates freely around stored items, reducing condensation and making cleaning quicker. The operator loads each shelf from the front, placing containers, trays or ingredients directly on the stainless-steel surface. The 50 kg capacity per shelf allows bulk ingredients, stacked plates or heavy pots to be stored safely. Items are retrieved by lifting them straight off, so there are no doors or drawers to open. The open design also lets staff see the contents of both shelves at a glance, speeding up workflow during service. Construction is stainless steel throughout, including the brackets and all fasteners. The material resists corrosion from steam, splashes and frequent sanitising, and does not harbour bacteria. The surface is smooth and non-porous, so spills wipe away without staining. Two brackets per shelf distribute the load evenly across the wall fixings, preventing sag or twist over time. The system is supplied as a complete unit with two shelves and two wall brackets. No assembly is required beyond fixing the brackets to a solid wall. The 700 mm length and 500 mm depth provide a generous footprint for standard gastronorm trays or bulk containers. The 600 mm overall height places the lower shelf at a comfortable reach and the upper shelf within easy view. The 50 kg load rating means the shelves can hold dense items such as sacks of flour or cases of bottled stock without bending. The stainless-steel construction ensures the shelves remain hygienic and easy to clean, meeting the strict standards of professional kitchens and food-production areas. Because the system is modular, additional shelves or different lengths can be added later if the kitchen layout changes. Cleaning is straightforward: the shelves and brackets are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser after each shift. There are no hidden corners or moving parts to trap debris, so maintenance is minimal. The system is available in other lengths and depths to suit different room layouts, and custom sizes can be manufactured to order.
