BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system organises ingredients, utensils and equipment within arm's reach while keeping worktops clear. The three-tier design creates vertical space that a single shelf cannot: the top shelf holds seldom-used items, the middle shelf keeps daily essentials at eye level, and the bottom shelf stores heavier or bulkier goods close to the work surface. Each shelf is fixed to the wall with its own bracket, distributing the load evenly and preventing sag even when fully loaded.
The shelves are flat, unobstructed panels that allow trays, bins and containers to slide on and off without catching. The front edge is rolled to eliminate sharp corners, reducing the risk of injury and making cleaning easier. Stainless steel is chosen for its resistance to moisture, heat and the chemicals used in professional cleaning; it does not corrode, warp or discolour, and its smooth surface discourages bacterial growth. The same material is used for the brackets and all fixing hardware, ensuring uniform durability and a consistent appearance.
Installation begins with marking the wall positions for the three brackets. Once the brackets are secured, the shelves are placed on top and fastened with screws that are concealed beneath the shelf surface. The 2000 mm length spans a typical section of wall, while the 300 mm depth provides enough room for standard gastronorm trays without protruding into the walkway. The 900 mm overall height keeps the top shelf within comfortable reach for most operators, and the 50 kg load rating per shelf allows heavy items such as stockpots or bulk ingredients to be stored safely.
Controls are limited to the fixing points: screws that secure the brackets to the wall and screws that lock the shelves to the brackets. No moving parts or electrical connections are present, so maintenance consists of wiping the surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The stainless steel finish does not require painting or sealing, and the absence of joints or crevices simplifies cleaning.
The 50 kg capacity per shelf indicates the maximum distributed load the shelf can support without deformation. The 2000 mm length determines the space the system occupies along the wall, while the 300 mm depth shows how far it extends from the wall. The 900 mm height affects the vertical clearance required above the worktop. The three-shelf configuration doubles the storage area compared to a single shelf of the same footprint.
Novameta offers the LSX3 system in other lengths and depths to match different room layouts. Custom dimensions and additional shelves can be manufactured to order, allowing the system to integrate with existing equipment and workflows. The same modular design is used across the entire LSX range, so shelves and brackets from different sets can be combined if needed.
