BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system organises ingredients, utensils and packaged goods above the worktop without occupying floor space. Three shelves, each supported by wall brackets, create separate levels so that items are grouped by type and frequency of use. The uppermost shelf keeps seldom-used stock, the middle one holds daily supplies, and the lowest shelf places heavier or bulkier containers within easy reach of the operator. This vertical arrangement speeds workflow and reduces clutter on preparation surfaces. The shelves are fixed rigidly to the wall, transferring the weight of stored items directly into the building structure. Each shelf is rated to carry a distributed load, so that the total weight is spread evenly across its surface. The brackets are spaced to prevent sagging and to maintain a level plane even when fully loaded. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion from steam, splashes and cleaning chemicals, ensuring the system remains stable and hygienic over years of service. Installation begins by marking the wall at the chosen height, drilling pilot holes, and securing the brackets with suitable fixings for the substrate. Each stainless-steel shelf slides onto its bracket and clicks securely, forming a rigid platform that resists sag even when fully loaded with stacked gastronorm trays. Once mounted, the operator loads each shelf from front to back, placing heavier items on the lower levels and lighter goods above. The open design allows clear visibility and quick access without moving other containers. The shelves and brackets are made of stainless steel, finished to a smooth surface that sheds moisture and food debris. The 2300 mm length spans the width of a typical workstation, while the 400 mm depth provides ample storage without projecting too far into the aisle. The 900 mm overall height fits beneath standard overhead cupboards and extractor hoods, leaving headroom for safe movement. Three wall brackets support the three shelves, distributing the load evenly across the wall. Each shelf is rated for a 50 kg capacity, allowing heavy containers such as stock pots, bulk ingredients or canned goods to be stored safely. The system is designed for professional environments where hygiene, durability and load-bearing capacity are critical. The LSX3-230/40/90 is one configuration of the Novameta LSX modular wall shelving system. Other lengths and depths are available to match specific room layouts and workflow requirements. Custom sizes and bespoke designs can be manufactured to order, including project planning, fabrication and installation services. Cleaning is straightforward: shelves and brackets are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dried to prevent water spots. The stainless steel surface resists staining and does not require protective coatings or special treatments. Regular inspection of the wall fixings ensures continued stability under load.
