BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted storage system organises ingredients, utensils and small equipment within arm's reach without occupying floor space. Two sturdy brackets secure the unit to the wall, while three horizontal shelves create separate levels for different items, preventing cross-contamination and speeding up workflow. The open design allows air to circulate freely, reducing condensation and keeping stored goods dry.
Each shelf supports up to 50 kg, so heavy containers, bulk ingredients or stacked crockery can be stored safely. The stainless-steel construction resists corrosion from steam, splashes and frequent cleaning, meeting the hygiene standards of professional kitchens and food-production areas. The smooth, non-porous surfaces wipe clean quickly and do not harbour bacteria, making daily upkeep straightforward.
The system is assembled in a 500 mm width, 500 mm depth and 900 mm height configuration, giving a compact footprint that fits between worktops, hobs or other wall-mounted units. Two brackets anchor the shelves to the wall, distributing the load evenly and preventing sagging over time. Shelves can be positioned at any vertical spacing to suit the items being stored, and the entire unit can be repositioned if kitchen layout changes.
Controls are not required; the shelves are simply loaded once the unit is mounted. The operator places items on the shelves, ensuring the 50 kg limit per shelf is not exceeded. Regular cleaning involves wiping the surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to maintain the stainless-steel finish.
The 50 kg load rating indicates the maximum safe weight per shelf, allowing heavy items to be stored without risk of deformation. The 500 mm depth provides enough space for standard gastronorm trays and containers, while the 900 mm overall height maximises vertical storage without over-reaching. Stainless steel construction ensures durability under constant use and frequent cleaning, and the modular design allows custom sizing for specific kitchen layouts or workflow requirements.
Cleaning is limited to the stainless-steel surfaces; no internal mechanisms or filters are present. The unit can be disassembled for thorough cleaning or relocation, and replacement shelves or brackets are available if needed.
Variants include different shelf lengths and depths, and custom configurations can be manufactured to match individual kitchen designs. The system is part of the Novameta LSX modular shelving range, designed for professional catering and food-production environments.
