BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A wall-mounted shelf system organises ingredients, utensils and small equipment within arm's reach without claiming floor space. Three horizontal shelves stack vertically, doubling or tripling the usable area above a worktop, hob or prep table. The shelves attach to the wall with two sturdy brackets, transferring the weight directly to the building structure rather than to the counter below. This arrangement keeps the work surface clear and stable while allowing staff to slide containers and trays on and off without lifting over obstacles.
Each shelf acts as a flat, rigid platform that supports evenly distributed loads. The brackets are spaced to prevent sagging, and the stainless steel construction resists bending under the stated capacity. Because the shelves are open and unenclosed, air circulates freely around stored items, reducing condensation and speeding up cooling or drying where needed. The absence of doors or sides also makes every item visible and accessible from the front, cutting the time spent searching or reaching.
To install the system, the operator marks the wall at the desired height, fixes the two brackets with suitable anchors, and slides the three shelves into place. Once loaded, the shelves remain stationary; there are no moving parts to adjust or maintain. The depth of 400 mm keeps items from overhanging while still accommodating standard gastronorm trays, ingredient bins and small appliances. The 900 mm width matches common worktop lengths, so the system aligns neatly with adjacent counters or equipment.
The shelves and brackets are made entirely of stainless steel, including all fasteners. Stainless steel does not corrode in humid or high-temperature environments, does not absorb odours or stains, and withstands the frequent cleaning and sanitising required in food production. The smooth, non-porous surface sheds water and grease, so spills wipe away without leaving residue or harbouring bacteria. There are no coatings, laminates or painted finishes to chip or peel over time.
The system is fixed in place with two wall brackets; no additional supports or legs are required. Each shelf carries up to 50 kg when the load is spread evenly across its surface. The overall dimensions of 900 mm wide, 400 mm deep and 900 mm high create a vertical storage column that fits between standard worktop heights and ceiling clearances in most professional kitchens.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the shelves and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Because there are no crevices, joints or enclosed spaces, dirt cannot accumulate in hard-to-reach areas. The stainless steel surface dries quickly, preventing water spots and reducing the risk of slips or corrosion.
The LSX3-90/40/90 is one configuration of the LSX modular system. Other widths, depths and numbers of shelves are available to match different room layouts and workflows. Novameta also supplies custom-designed systems based on individual drawings and site requirements, including full project planning, manufacturing and installation.
