A modular shelving unit organises dry stores, prep stations and service areas without fixed walls or cupboards. Vertical posts and horizontal shelves create open bays that let air circulate and staff reach every item without moving others. The shelves rest on adjustable brackets, so the spacing can be widened for tall containers or narrowed for small jars. The Novameta 2700-6 unit is assembled from welded stainless-steel frames and shelves. Each shelf supports up to 120 kg, allowing heavy containers of flour, tinned goods or bulk liquids to be stored at a convenient working height. The 2700 mm length spans a full worktop run, while the 600 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach without overhanging the aisle. A height of 1800 mm uses the vertical space below standard ceiling grids, leaving clearance for extractor hoods or lighting.

Shelves are loaded from the front or sides; no doors or drawers slow access. The open construction also speeds cleaning: shelves can be lifted off the brackets and washed separately, while the frame is wiped down in place. Stainless steel resists corrosion from kitchen humidity and cleaning chemicals, so the unit maintains its appearance and hygiene rating over years of use.

The controls are the adjustable shelf brackets. Each bracket slides along the vertical post and locks at the desired height, allowing the spacing to be set for different container sizes or workflow stages. No tools are required for adjustment, so the layout can be changed during service if needed.
