An open frame creates a free-standing base for stainless-steel worktops in professional kitchens. Without side panels or cupboards, the frame leaves the space beneath the work surface clear for mobile trolleys, waste bins or cleaning access. The four legs rise from floor level to the underside of the worktop, transferring the weight of equipment, ingredients and staff directly to the floor. The frame is assembled from square-section stainless-steel tubes welded into a rigid rectangle. Each leg ends in a threaded foot that can be raised or lowered to level the worktop on uneven floors or to adjust the final height of the surface. Once the worktop is fitted, the frame and top form a single unit that can be moved as one piece if the kitchen layout changes. To use the frame, the operator first sets the four feet to the desired height. A spirit level laid across the top tubes confirms the frame is level. The worktop is then placed on the frame and secured with screws or clamps through pre-drilled holes in the top rails. Once the worktop is fixed, the frame is ready to support appliances, sinks or food-preparation areas. The seamless stainless steel frame resists corrosion from daily cleaning sprays and hot water splashes on a busy kitchen line. The legs are 700 mm apart front to back and 1200 mm side to side, matching the standard width of professional catering worktops. The height of the frame can be adjusted between 835 mm and 900 mm, allowing the final worktop height to be set to suit the kitchen staff. The frame is supplied as a single welded unit. No assembly is required beyond fitting the worktop and adjusting the feet. The 1200 mm width allows the frame to carry a full-width worktop in a commercial kitchen, while the 700 mm depth provides enough overhang for sinks or hobs without encroaching on floor space. The adjustable height range suits most kitchen worktop standards, ensuring compatibility with existing equipment. Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless-steel tubes with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills. With no motors, switches, or wiring, the frame remains stable under heavy chopping blocks and cast-iron pans without scheduled servicing.
