An open stainless-steel frame forms the load-bearing structure beneath professional catering worktops. Without sides or cupboards, the frame allows full access from all four edges, letting kitchen staff slide heavy pots, trays and appliances freely across the surface above. Six legs transfer the weight directly to the floor, eliminating the need for wall brackets or additional supports.
The frame's height adjusters let the operator set the worktop at the ergonomic level required for each task—prep, plating or pastry—without altering the floor itself. Because the frame is open, air circulates beneath the worktop, reducing condensation and making cleaning easier after service.
Assembly begins by positioning the frame on a level floor. The six legs are bolted into place, then the height adjusters are turned until the frame sits level and at the desired working height. A worktop of matching dimensions is placed on top and secured with the fasteners supplied. Once the worktop is fixed, the frame is ready for daily use.
The frame is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion in humid kitchen environments. The legs and cross-braces are welded into a single unit, ensuring stability under the weight of commercial appliances and bulk ingredients.
No controls are fitted; the frame is a purely mechanical support.
The 2800 mm length provides a continuous run of work surface, allowing multiple staff to work side by side without crowding. The 600 mm depth is standard for professional worktops, giving enough space for equipment and ingredients while keeping everything within easy reach. The adjustable height range of 835–900 mm accommodates most kitchen tasks, from standing prep to seated plating.
Cleaning is limited to wiping down the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The open construction prevents dirt and moisture from collecting in corners or behind panels.
The frame is supplied as a single unit; no variants are offered for this model.
The frame is designed to support Novameta worktops of matching dimensions, but is compatible with any worktop of the same size that meets the load rating specified by the manufacturer.
