| NOTES | Made of stainless steel |
A protective screen creates a physical barrier between staff and customers, reducing airborne transmission of viruses in service areas. The acrylic panel blocks droplets while allowing clear visibility and communication, and the frame holds the panel securely without permanent mounting.
The screen stands on its own base or can be moved on castors, letting the kitchen team reposition it as service patterns change. Operators place the screen on a counter, worktop or trolley, adjust the height if needed, and begin service without tools or fixtures. When the shift ends, the screen lifts off the base and stores flat.
The frame is made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and frequent cleaning. The acrylic panel is transparent, lightweight and shatter-resistant, giving a clear line of sight while protecting both sides. The edges are polished to remove sharp corners, and the joints are sealed to prevent dirt traps.
Cleaning follows the same routine as other stainless-steel surfaces in the kitchen: a mild detergent solution and a soft cloth remove fingerprints and splashes, while a sanitiser approved for acrylic glass disinfects the panel without clouding it. The screen dries quickly and is ready for the next service period.
Two configurations are available: a free-standing model on a weighted base and a mobile version on lockable castors. Both accept the same acrylic panel and stainless-steel frame, letting the kitchen choose the option that fits the space and workflow.
