A wall-mounted shelf creates storage space above the worktop without occupying floor area. The single shelf is fixed directly to the wall with brackets, transferring the weight of stored items to the building structure rather than to a freestanding frame. This arrangement keeps the kitchen floor clear for trolleys and mobile equipment while placing ingredients, utensils or small appliances within easy reach of the chef.

The shelf is a flat platform of stainless steel supported by brackets at each end. Once secured to the wall, it provides a stable surface for containers, trays or individual items up to the stated load rating. Because it is open underneath, air circulates freely, reducing condensation and making the shelf easier to clean than enclosed cupboard storage.

Installation begins by marking the desired height on the wall, then drilling and plugging the fixing points. The brackets are attached to the wall first, then the shelf is laid on top and secured with screws. Once the shelf is level and firmly fixed, it is ready to receive items. No assembly of shelf components is required on site; the unit arrives as a single platform and two brackets.

The shelf is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, heat and moisture in a professional kitchen environment. The material does not absorb odours or stains, and it can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitising agents without risk of damage.

The 700 mm width allows the shelf to span the typical distance between wall studs or masonry piers, providing a continuous storage surface. The 400 mm depth projects far enough from the wall to hold standard gastronorm trays or bulk ingredient containers without overhang. The 333 mm height from the wall to the underside of the shelf gives clearance for most hand movements when reaching items.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the shelf surface and brackets with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Because the shelf has no moving parts or enclosed spaces, there are no areas where food debris or grease can accumulate out of sight. The open design also allows the wall behind the shelf to be cleaned without removing the unit.

The stated load rating of 40 kg applies to the entire shelf surface when the weight is evenly distributed. This capacity allows the shelf to hold bulk ingredients, stacked containers or small appliances such as blenders or mixers without risk of deformation or detachment from the wall.
