A single wall shelf provides a fixed horizontal surface that keeps ingredients, utensils or prepared dishes within arm's reach while freeing the worktop below. The shelf is mounted directly to the wall with brackets, transferring the weight to the building structure rather than the work surface. This arrangement leaves the floor clear for cleaning and allows the shelf to support heavier loads than a freestanding unit of the same size.

The shelf is loaded from the front; there are no doors or sides to open. Items are placed directly on the flat surface, making it quick to access and easy to scan at a glance. Because the shelf is open, air circulates freely, helping to keep stored goods at room temperature and reducing condensation.

To use the shelf, first secure the mounting brackets to a solid wall at the desired height. Slide the shelf onto the brackets and lock it in place. Load the shelf evenly, keeping the weight within the stated capacity. When cleaning, remove all items, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly to prevent water marks.

The shelf is constructed from stainless steel, which resists corrosion, staining and heat. The material is non-porous, so it does not absorb odours or harbour bacteria, and it can be sanitised repeatedly without damage. The edges are rolled to protect both the shelf and the items placed on it.

The shelf measures 1400 mm in length, 500 mm in depth and 330 mm in height. The 1400 mm span allows it to hold multiple containers side by side, while the 500 mm depth provides enough space for larger trays without overhanging into the walkway. The 330 mm height is the distance from the wall to the front edge, giving clearance for hands and utensils beneath.

The shelf is rated to support a distributed load of 40 kg. This capacity allows it to hold bulk ingredients, stacked plates or heavy equipment such as mixers or bain-maries without sagging or risking detachment from the wall.

Cleaning is straightforward: remove all items, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry with a clean cloth to prevent water spots. The stainless steel surface does not require sealing or special treatment.
