A single wall shelf creates a fixed work surface or storage tier above a worktop, hob or counter. It is mounted directly to the wall with brackets or rails, leaving the floor clear and keeping items within easy reach of kitchen staff. The shelf itself is a flat, rigid panel that supports the load without sagging, while the brackets transfer the weight to the wall structure. This arrangement frees up floor space and reduces clutter on worktops, making it simpler to keep the kitchen organised and clean.

The operator installs the shelf by marking the wall at the desired height, fixing the brackets or rail with suitable wall anchors, then lowering the shelf panel onto the brackets and securing it with the supplied fixings. Once mounted, the shelf is ready to hold plates, trays, containers or small appliances. The flat surface allows items to be slid on and off without tipping, and the open underside makes it easy to wipe down the shelf and the wall behind it.

Construction is stainless steel throughout, including the shelf panel and the mounting hardware. Stainless steel resists corrosion from steam, splashes and cleaning chemicals, and does not require painting or protective coatings. The 2400 mm length provides a continuous run of storage or workspace, while the 400 mm depth gives enough room for larger trays or containers without overhanging too far from the wall. The 333 mm height is the vertical space the shelf occupies once mounted, leaving clearance above for other fittings or lighting.

The shelf is rated to carry a distributed load of 40 kg. This capacity allows it to hold multiple trays, containers or small appliances without bending or loosening the fixings. The load rating assumes the wall and fixings are suitable for the weight; the shelf itself does not include wall anchors, as the correct type depends on the wall construction.

Cleaning is straightforward: the smooth stainless steel surface can be wiped with a damp cloth and standard kitchen sanitiser. There are no seams or crevices to trap food debris, and the open underside allows access to the wall behind the shelf for thorough cleaning. The shelf does not require disassembly for routine cleaning, and the stainless steel finish will not chip or peel over time.
