A drip tray collects liquids that run off equipment during cooking, chilling or holding. Condensation from refrigeration coils, fat splashes from a grill, or oil that overflows a fryer basket all drain into the tray instead of pooling on the worktop or floor. The tray sits beneath the appliance, sloped so that any liquid flows to one end where it can be tipped out or piped away.

To use the tray, slide it under the appliance until it rests on the supporting rails or ledges. When the tray is full, lift it clear, pour the contents into a waste container, and replace it. Some installations connect the tray to a fixed drain line with a short hose, so that emptying is automatic.

The tray is made of stainless steel, which resists corrosion from water, salt and food acids. It can be washed in a sink or dishwasher, and will not stain or rust when left wet.

Novameta supplies this tray as a spare part for its own catering equipment and as a compatible accessory for other professional makes.
