BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
An equipment shelf organises heavy appliances and utensils above the worktop, keeping them within reach while freeing counter space. The unit stands on wall brackets that transfer the weight directly to the wall structure, so the shelves themselves carry only the load placed on them. Stainless steel is chosen for its resistance to moisture, cleaning chemicals and daily wear, ensuring the shelf remains stable and hygienic in a professional kitchen or food-production environment.
The operator mounts the three wall brackets to a solid wall at the required spacing, then slides the three shelves into the brackets. Each shelf is positioned at the desired height and secured. Once in place, the shelf holds up to 50 kg of equipment, appliances or containers without sagging or shifting.
The shelf is constructed from stainless steel throughout, including the brackets and the shelves themselves. The 1700 mm length spans a typical worktop or counter run, while the 400 mm depth allows appliances to sit safely without overhang. The overall height of 999 mm provides three tiers of storage without obstructing overhead lighting or ventilation.
No controls are fitted; the shelf is a static support structure. The 50 kg load capacity applies to the entire unit, so the weight is distributed evenly across the three shelves. The footprint of 1700 x 400 mm determines the wall space required, and the 50 kg rating indicates the need for a wall capable of supporting that load.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The open construction allows access to all surfaces, and the absence of moving parts means no lubrication or adjustment is needed.
Variants in length and width are available, and manufacturing to individual drawings is possible for bespoke installations.
The shelf is catalogued under professional storage solutions for commercial kitchens, food production and industrial premises.
