BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A stainless steel wall shelf fixes directly to the wall, freeing the worktop and floor for other tasks. Two brackets carry a single flat shelf, creating a stable platform that holds appliances, utensils or ingredients at a convenient working height. The shelf itself is a flat sheet of stainless steel, so it does not trap dirt or moisture and can be wiped clean in seconds.
The shelf is mounted on the wall with two brackets spaced along its length. These brackets transfer the weight of the load straight into the wall structure, so the shelf remains level and secure even when fully loaded. Because the shelf is fixed to the wall, it does not take up floor space, leaving the area beneath clear for trolleys, bins or foot traffic.
To install, the operator marks the fixing points on the wall, drills and inserts suitable anchors, then bolts the brackets in place. The shelf is lifted onto the brackets and secured with screws or clips. Once mounted, the shelf is ready to receive equipment, containers or ingredients. The operator loads items evenly across the shelf to keep the weight balanced and prevent any risk of tipping.
The shelf is made of stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, moisture and daily wear. Stainless steel does not rust, does not absorb odours and does not react with food acids, so it meets the hygiene standards of commercial kitchens. The surface is smooth and seamless, with no crevices where dirt can collect.
The shelf measures 900 mm long, 500 mm deep and 333 mm high from the floor. This footprint provides a generous working area while keeping the shelf within reach of an average operator. The 50 kg load capacity allows the shelf to support heavy appliances such as mixers, slicers or bain-maries, as well as stacks of containers or trays.
Cleaning is straightforward: the operator removes all items, wipes the shelf and brackets with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dries the surface to prevent water marks. Because the shelf is fixed to the wall, there are no legs or supports to clean around, and the area beneath remains accessible for mopping or sweeping.
Novameta offers the shelf in various lengths and widths to suit different kitchen layouts. Custom sizes can be manufactured to individual drawings or project specifications, ensuring the shelf fits precisely into the available space and meets the required load capacity.
