BHS stainless steel shelf for equipment placement. Durable construction, available in various sizes, manufactured according to individual drawings and projects.
A stainless steel wall shelf fixes directly to the wall, creating a sturdy horizontal surface that holds catering equipment off the worktop or floor. Two wall brackets transfer the weight of the shelf and its load into the wall structure, preventing sag and vibration. The shelf itself is a flat panel that spreads the load evenly, so heavy appliances sit level and secure without tipping or shifting during use. Stainless steel resists moisture, grease and cleaning chemicals, so the shelf stays hygienic and does not corrode even in the steam and humidity of a professional kitchen.
The operator mounts the shelf to the wall at the desired height, using the two supplied brackets. Once fixed, the shelf is ready to receive equipment: ovens, mixers, blenders, scales or storage bins. The 700 mm length gives enough space for several appliances side by side, while the 300 mm depth keeps them within easy reach. A single shelf keeps the wall area uncluttered and allows air to circulate above and below, reducing heat build-up around appliances that generate warmth.
Construction is a single stainless steel shelf panel supported by two stainless steel brackets. The material is chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The brackets are fixed to the wall with suitable fixings, which are not supplied; the choice depends on the wall material and the load. The shelf has no moving parts, so maintenance is limited to regular wiping with a damp cloth and mild detergent to remove grease and food debris.
The 50 kg load rating means the shelf can support most countertop catering appliances without risk of bending or failure. The 700 mm length and 300 mm depth set the footprint of the shelf, determining how much wall space it occupies and how many appliances can be placed on it. The 333 mm height is the distance from the wall to the front edge of the shelf, giving clearance for appliances with controls or feet that extend below the shelf surface.
Novameta offers the shelf in various lengths and widths to suit different kitchen layouts. Manufacturing to individual drawings and projects is also available, allowing the shelf to be tailored to specific premises and operational needs.
