Metal table with two shelves made of stainless steel AISI 304.
A solid stainless steel work table provides a hygienic, heavy-duty surface for food preparation, plating and storage in professional kitchens. The two shelves beneath the worktop create organised space for ingredients, utensils or small equipment, keeping them within easy reach while freeing the main surface for active tasks. The table stands on adjustable feet that allow the operator to level the unit on uneven floors or raise the working height by up to 40 mm. This adjustment compensates for minor floor slopes and lets the kitchen staff set the table to a comfortable working posture, reducing fatigue during long shifts. To use the table, the operator first positions it in the desired location and adjusts the feet until the worktop is level. Ingredients, tools or small appliances are then placed on the main surface or distributed across the two shelves according to workflow. The open shelf design allows air to circulate, helping to keep stored items dry and visible. The construction is entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy that withstands frequent cleaning with water and sanitisers. The material does not absorb odours, resists staining and maintains its appearance under the heat and humidity of a busy kitchen. All surfaces are smooth and seamless, eliminating crevices where food debris could collect. Height adjustment is made via threaded feet that turn with a spanner. No additional controls are fitted; the table is a static unit designed for stability and load-bearing capacity. The footprint of 2300 mm by 600 mm determines the floor space the table occupies, while the 900 mm overall height allows it to fit beneath standard worktop extractor hoods and wall cupboards. The two shelf positions add vertical storage without increasing the footprint, making the table suitable for kitchens where floor space is limited. Cleaning is straightforward: the operator wipes down all stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dries them to prevent water spots. Loosened feet on this stainless steel work table can cause uneven weight distribution across the shelves during heavy food prep or plating. The table is available in two widths: 650 mm with a 3% tolerance and 700 mm with a 5% tolerance. Both versions share the same length, height and construction. Custom dimensions and designs can be produced on request through consultation with Novameta specialists.
