Metal table with two shelves made of stainless steel AISI
304.
A stainless steel worktable with two shelves provides a rigid, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating and staging in professional kitchens. The flat top and lower shelves create organised storage and work zones without fixed partitions, allowing staff to slide trays, pots and ingredients across the full width of the unit. Adjustable feet compensate for uneven floors, keeping the table level and stable under load.
The table is assembled from stainless steel sheet and tubular framing, welded and polished to eliminate crevices where dirt could collect. The two shelves sit parallel to the worktop, each supported by the same frame, so the entire structure moves as one unit when repositioned. Height adjustment is made by turning the feet, raising or lowering the table in small increments until it matches adjacent counters or equipment.
To use the table, position it where needed and level it with the adjustable feet. Load the worktop with the day's mise en place, utensils or small appliances, while the lower shelves hold bulk ingredients, backup crockery or cleaning supplies. The open design allows air to circulate, preventing condensation and keeping stored items dry.
Construction is stainless steel AISI 304 throughout, chosen for corrosion resistance and ease of sanitisation. The frame is welded for strength, and the shelves are seamlessly joined to the uprights, leaving no ledges or fasteners that could trap debris.
The table is supplied in a standard size of 1200 mm length, 600 mm depth and 900 mm height. Two width options are available: 650 mm with a 3% price adjustment, or 700 mm with a 5% price adjustment. Height can be fine-tuned up to 40 mm above the standard measurement using the adjustable feet.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser after each service. The absence of seams and joints means there are no hidden areas to scrub, and the polished finish resists staining from acidic or coloured foods.
Custom sizing and design modifications are available by consulting Novameta specialists, allowing the table to fit specific kitchen layouts or workflow requirements.
